Questions from listeners

For the anonymous provider who filled out our post survey on the 4th episode:

Q: "I’d like to hear someone speak to the safety as well as actual efficacy of giving ketorolac after having given 200-400 mg of oral celecoxib. Is it safe, and is it providing any benefit?"

A: During a lecture by Tom Baribeault, CRNA and cofounder of Society of Opioid Free Anesthesia, he recommended caution with giving both celebrex and ketorolac. He recommended giving one or the other, but not both during the perioperative period.
